Seldon Curry Testing Event

Join us on 12th of May to welcome back the wonderful Seldon Curry. He’ll be presenting a special 6 course menu priced at £65 per person along with an optional wine flight for £45.

Seldon is currently head chef of The Seaside Boarding House in Dorset, has worked under greats such as Mark Hix and was of course, the co-owner and head chef of the sorely missed Wallfish Bistro here in Bristol. Expect bold flavours, amazing fish cookery and some great wines from us.

Carmen Street Wine Tasting No.5

For our next tasting at Carmen Street we’ll be joined by the wonderful Tamsin Jones of Carte Blanche Wines. She will be showcasing an exciting section of wines from Atlantic Spain. Tickets will be £30 per person and include 4 wines and a selection of snacks.

Terra Remota Wine Maker's Dinner

For our next winemaker’s dinner we are joined by Terra Remota from Girona, courtesy of Spiegel & Peach wine importers. They strive to bring personalised service to the making of each of their wine and abide by the three concepts of quality, respect for the raw materials and identity. 

They will be showcasing 5 of their wines and our kitchen have put together a fantastic menu to accompany. One sitting at 7pm with tickets priced at £60 per head. Booking essential - please email events@caperandcure.co.uk.

Basque Tasting Night at Carmen Street Wine

Join us at Carmen Street Wine for a wonderful celebration of Basque cuisine with an exciting menu curated by two of our young superstars of the kitchen, Harry Turner and Jack Wyatt. A drinks pairing with special wines and ciders from the region will also be available.

International Women's Day

At Carmen Street Wine we’ll be showcasing a one off wine list of all female wine makers and celebrating women in the wine industry.

Join us in the afternoon (no booking necessary) and chat to three of our wonderful wine importers: Léa from Déjà Bu, Maddie from Spiegel and Peach and Lela from Xisto Wines who will be informally chatting about the female winemakers they work with. They’ll be with us into the evening to carry on the celebrations.

At Caper and Cure, we’ll be carrying on the trend, and have extra wines on by the glass from female winemakers to enjoy whilst dining with us.

Our third tasting of 2025 takes us to France with a 6 course menu - and a wine flight to match is available.

On the first Thursday of each month we run a 6 course tasting menu. There are two sittings, 7pm and 8pm, and the theme of the menu changes each month and with the seasons.
